Rusty brake discs

Anbody out there know how to get rid of the spots of rust on the discs without too much time and effort? I have Carrera wheels on my C4 Cab and it's really noticeable through the spokes.

Never worked for me as they were too far gone, best bet is to get them skimmed if they're that bad.

If the outside faces look bad , chances are the inside faces are completely knackered. Run your finger along the inside face to decide. They may even be beyond skimming..
