GT3 should i buy this one?
Discussion
2 years old, dual climate, race type seats in leather, 16k miles, ceramic brakes, fairly basic uk spec an import from new, country of origin C98 (cyprus)
My local OPC has offerd a similar UK car for £59K which i thought was a bit steep to say the least.
I may not go for this one but it is the best i have seen and all i really wanted was aircon and race seats as an extra so it does fit the bill.
Thanks
Oh yes what should i offer??

I sold my Mk2 (2003) with 20k miles for just under £47k a few months ago (private sale). Good example and still under warranty.
Worth bearing in mind that many buyers are a bit funny about imports, especially on something more specialised like a GT3, which could cause you problems come resale. Ok if bought at the right price but there's UK ones around at £43k-£50k too, so keep that in mind.
Good luck.

Thanks for all your prompt responses. I am beginning to get the idea now
I have wanted a GT3 for a long time but realise that whatever i buy will have to be sold again at some point in the future and take on board comments re origin and also regarding OPC attitude to warrenty.
I will contact Porsche on monday and investigate in the meantime i welcome any advice.
One point re the ceramic brakes, are these good or bad news in the long run, i understand they are £4.5k per side to replace and many people would swap to steel disc's

may be worth emailing slippydiff - he has good (or bad depends on your perspective) experience of pccbs
53k seems too steep...its bordering on opc prices...my offer for that would be £45ish.have a looK on WYLESHARDY.COM I think...they trying to sell a yellow one...maybe worth a punt...i think they are liquidators...or if you feel brave you can have a lhd from states landed and registered for £42-43K....usa cars seem to be high spec and low mileage....look on ebay motors....good luck
