996 Gear knob

I'm fitting a short throw shifter but cannot get the gear knob off?

Any ideas?

pull up the shroud / boot and you will see there is an allen screw that you need to loosen.

thanks PP I've sorted it. Apparently there are different types. Mine was simply a twist and remove job with no screws. Thanks for repying.
