I have a 2001 996TT with 41k on the clock. It was last serviced about a year ago by a OPC.

What service is it now due and whats it likely to cost ?

Cheers

All depends on when the previous services were done and wether they've been done properly.

Do you have the service book? also details of when the spark plugs were last changed?

If you go onto the Porsche uk website you can download one of the servicing menu price guides. This along with your service book will help you work out which service is due.

If you are still unsure just post the details on here and see what we come up with.

The car is six years old. Providing it has been serviced correctly in the past it should be due for the 24,000 mile/every two years service which is £1038 incl VAT. If you take it to an OPC they will want you to get the brake fluid changed (£113 incl)as that is due every two years.

Can't help with indy prices but I am sure others on here will.

Why not just ring your OPC?

Just seen you're in the process of buying the car privately.

Make sure you get an OPC check over of the vehicle and be sure the two comon problems below are checked:

radiators (stone damage or internal corrosion).
heat shileds (they rattle).

plus of course brakes/tyres etc.

Just rang the OPC in West London and they told me that the service due is the £500 odd one and its also due a brake fluid change.
I will be getting the OPC to look over it and then purchase the 1 yr extended warranty for peace of mind.

Cheers 4 all the help
