Did anyone else have a nightmare getting out of the car park at Goodwood today? It took me around half an hour to get out of car park M up a fairly steep hill, having used a bit of clutch, second gear and some friendly marshals pushing and arriving home with a very muddy Boxster!

Also had my PSM, ABS and Brake distribution warning lights come on all at the same time, but stopped on the way back locked and unlocked the car again and it seemed to reset them... All fine

Wasnt too bad for us, fair bit of slipperiness though that said it was REALLY boggy..! even under foot just walking to the car...

That thunderstorm was a bit mad and I dont think i have seen so many people try and jump into a Jaguar to stay dry!

Ditto - pretty awful on the way out as u say. It wasnt even mud anymore, more like brown mouse. Given I generally avoid simply wet in my old girl the drifting in the mud made one hell of a mess. Painful for an old purist like me...

I saw a few Porsches in the car park yesterday and was wondering how they were going to get out. I was driving a mates CRV so no worries over mud. What a wash out the day was though, I left after 4 hours as I was sick of the rain.

Yup - it was easy in a Cayenne! smile

Can't believe how much it rained though. FoS is definitely much more enjoyable in the sunshine, especially with small children!

T'was truly horrible. Took the 4x4 because I don't think the 993 would have made it out, and even the 4x4 gave me an interesting moment of understeer when I thought I'd be buying Lord March a new section of fence before some grip was found and I got things straightened up.

Very muddy indeed to say the least. Had to plan our escape very carefully as we needed to get the GT3 race car off the site as well as a GT3 road car. The field where the motorhome and trailer / Dodge Ram tow truck & trailer, were pitched turned into a muddy swimming pool. Had to pull a chap`s caravan out for him with the Dodge Ram. Luckily all the tyres on the tow vehicles were up to the job! A bit muddy when we finally made it back in one piece !

Friday was a cracking day & Saturday ok bar a couple of showers.
