ok did donny track day in my lotus wednesday night.

Very very very very wet, it was wet :-)

Any way there were 3 993 RS there but they all stuffed them into the barriers.

Just as i am about to buy one aswell.
Are they that bad in the wet ?????

These stories pop up all the time. There's a load of the same said about 996 GT2's as well. Seems you really need to improve your driving skills to avoid embarrasment in these mega RWD 911's.

I guess you either want to become a better driver and relish the RWD challenge, or you don't want the hassle and get 4x4 instead.

Nought wrong with an RS in the wet -just balance that right boot!!

Did they have any tread on their tyres????

Well I took my 993 RS there but when I saw the state of the track I decided to go home, mine has Dunlop 'R' tyres which are fine in small amounts of water, but not with standing water, looks like I made the right decision, hope not too much damage was done
