Okay i know its a boring thread, but the time has come to renew my policy for the 993C4S.
Obviously going to put on a 5k pa policy, and cannot be bothered trolling through all the bloody companies going through the same questions, takes for ever.
Currently paying £630 which i don't think is bad. Oh and i'm 36.
Any one got any recommendations? confused
Cheers

Can you get a classic policy for that?

I'm just 27 and pay £399 for mine with A Manning Its a 968 Sport so not a 911 but may help.

RH Classic would have insured it for £299 but they didn't include track cover!

Hope this helps.

I'm also with A Manning, and don't bother with Limited Mileage...well, given that I've done 6,000 miles since April I can't really...

Try Peart Insurance. They were the cheapest I could find, no problems claiming either. They specialise in performance cars.

We used to use Peter Best but found Heritage a better bet for classic policies. Peter Best are reasonable for Mercedes though nothing like the cheapest deal and totally uncompetitive for Porsche. A Manning insures our Mercedes SL55 (exactly the same policy as Best but £400 cheaper) and Porsche GT3.

Definitely, definitely call Hagerty. When I insured a 993 C4 earlier this year they were substantially cheaper than anyone else I tried (inc all the above!) for the limited mileage, classic policy.

gone with classic line £500 250 excess.
A Manning was competitive, but let themselves down when the quote was subject to being a member of PCGB, don't agree with policies like that hence my decision, they must be on a commision or something, which is another reason why having being a member of "the club" for 4 yrs, which is basically a business after all said and done, i have never renewed, TIPEC maybe better though, more for enthusiasts and don't talk with plums in their mouths.
On the insurance subject though,
All others advertised in 911 & Porsche world were million miles away!
had one quote from RH who just short of £1000!
