Ive just been sent a letter by Porsche to have a 24 HR drive in a Cayman
Any Ideas where I should go ?

I dont think I can take it to Europe ( although I will ask )

London to .....

1- Linconshire ( great roads no traffic)
2- North Wales ( betwys-coed )
3- A303 towards Devon ?

Any other Ideas ?

Option 2 - North wales is fantastic - I once did 700 miles in a day driving there from Essex and back again!

Is it an S or just a regular one?

Im getting an S

looking forward to it in a funny sort of way - hopes the MRS dont like it !!!!!!

Imagine the ad !

For sale ex demo Cayman S full history ... only used on occasional test drives !
higher than average miles ,new tyres as a fault with the 1st set !

Good to see you at Goodwood Tim, admiring that stunning Ruf supercar.....just loved that matt finish too. Would look brilliant in matt blac.

I'll vote for north wales, anywhere around Snowdonia, stunning roads.

Ajit.

How do you guys get this sort of stuff?
Do you spend millions of pounds with Porsche every year? eek

I get my car serviced with OPC, bought a warranty, get some stuff done between services but not even as much as an invite to a launch event.

I previously had an Audi TT (some 7 or so years ago) and I still get invites to launches etc. from them.

I"m not sure it's always such a bad thing.

When I brought my 987 Boxster I didn't drive an 'S' as I knew I couldn't justify one. If I were sent an offer of a loaner of a Cayman S or a 911 I'd like to think I'd have the willpower to say no, not so much because I may like it and want to buy one, buy because I wouldn't want to feel less happy with my car.
