black alloy wheels!
Discussion
Just had the wheels done on my GT3 road car, black centres, silver outer rims so as not to blend the tyres into the wheel.

You can just paint the existing aloys & if you don`t like it then strip them back and re-paint them silver.

edited to add : went for a gloss finish as the matting agent tends to soften the paint a little and the gloss will the more resistant to cleaning / dust attack.

That looks very nice. Anyone got a pic of a silver GT2 with black wheels? Mine need to go in for some curb repairs soon, so I might take the opportunity to go black at the same time.

H - What products did you use? I just went for Hammerite Smooth in rattle cans. The outers seem fine as I really had to rub them right dowm to bear metal, but I just lightly sanded the centres down & the paint does seem susceptable to chipping.

If you do it, please start a thread, I have considered this as well, but not sure how it will look.Hi, I was asking a similar question a while back (in fact, Henry replied to a question I asked about potential resale value by changing from stock!)
I went for it, with my Sport Classic II's....

They're not black (sorry), but classed as "black chrome" by Lepsons who refurbed them. Really chuffed with them, still look like new today and when compared to how they were in silver, an order of magnetude better, IMHO.
