COLLAPSED SEAT MOUNT

O/S rear seat mount collapsed in my Cup Car (ALL THOSE FAT PAX!!) .......although it's a separate fabricated item, Porsche want to sell it as part of the floor pan structure £250 + VAT and only on back order from Germany.

Any advise/help appreciated!!!

Put Mrs Melv on a diet ?

Can`t you fabricate something. Alternatively buy the whole panel and cut off the part you need. You might also find it`s the same as a road car in which case a damaged shell may provide the part. Pop a photo up so we can have a look.

She is!!

It's common with road part (standard C2/RS)and I think fabrication poss only option.

I thought it was case of just chiselling out old mount and welding in new....apparently not!
