993 Book - What is it?

Hi all.



Just bought this book - I doubt it's anything special but was unsure of it's significance?
Was it just a brochure for the 911/993 or something else? It's doesnt really seem like it's written to appeal to us petrolheads.

Yes a launch brochure sounds about right, it's a hardback with about 40 pages (some fold out) so I thought it was a bit much for your average brochure. Dont think it has any options/price lists or anything either.

Porsche produce/d a steady stream of these, even one for the 993RS and 996 GT3 IIRC. I have a few tucked away, but sadly not the RS/GT3 ones
