Anyone expecting late run 997 GT3s will have facelift ?

I can't see why they would go to the expense of changing anything on these low volume models.
If they had the standard front and rear aprons then maybe yes, but as they're pretty unique to the model I'd say no.

No. GT3 production ends later this year.

In any event, the 'facelift' 997 is not currently expected until 2009MY

I guess that only a MkII would get the face lift as with the 996's.

Must admit that the GT2 is growing on me - but for the fussy vents on the back-end that is...

Porsche are creatures of habit with the 996 launched in 1997, the Gt3 in 1999, the carrera facelift in 2001 & the Gt3 facelift in 2003 (calender years not model years!) you can expect the 997 to do pretty much the same.

Using the same time-line..04 997, 06 Gt3, 08 facelift Carrera, 010 GT3 facelift,........ 011 998!
