My 996TT has Aluminium (look?) air vent vanes in the centre of the dash but black plastic ones to the right of the driver and left of the passenger. Anyone know where I could get a matching Alli pair for the right and left and also how difficult it is to swap them out?

Many thanks in advance smile

Check 'Erictheplugguy' on 6speedonline forum, he makes lots of tasty bits like that in CF, etc.

yep not cheap - especially if you have them covered in leather too!

www.carnewal.com have a good stock too.

as for changing them, they are very simpel provided you know where the screws are located.

if you do get them and want to have a go at replacing them mail me and i will send you a PDF version of the 996 workshop manual which shows you exactly how to remove them

Why can't I just get the vanes as opposed to the whole fitment - I already have the Leather surround?

its all one unit I think

you have the small ali look pack, large one adds side vents and front door speaker grilles, changing side ones does look good and at last its the easiest bit to change
