3.2 to 3.6 to RS - Project Update - not long now.
Discussion
Hi All
a quick update.
The car is coming along well now. I was hoping it would be done in time for summer (!)
luckily summer is running a couple of months late so we still might make it.
check out my galleries - I'll be getting another update soon and should be making my way to wales next weekend to pick out the final shade of lurid green.

Oops - yes its .php not .html and sometimes it fires up wrong layout.
Ive got 2 galleries on there, the before and after.
I'll be adding some more in later today along with an article or two about the other projects.
The engine is a 964. 3.6 late type (proper head seal and plastic induction stacks).
I swiped a bargain by offering to buy it off auction - I got it for £800 as an unknown quantity in 4 major chunks (I was lucky though the engine was complete).
When I worked at Ninemeister i did a total strip down on the engine and rebuilt it from the bottom up so its as good as zero miles on it (it was in top condition on stripdown but i did the rebuild anyway).
The engine went back in about 2 years ago and she's sat in my garage whilst i 'considered my options' relating to the bodywork.
Luckliy I found Mark at RS911 and weve come to an arrangement over the body - Mark nibbles it as background work.
Ive only done about 20 miles on the engine (driving it home from 9m) before she had to go SORN.
The ECU is a genuine 964RS ecu with a remap so it should be good for anywhere from 280bhp+.
