Becker Cascade or double DIN Kenwood?

I am planning to replace the CDR22 OEM unit in my MY03 996 with either a Becker Cascade or Double DIN Kenwood DNX-7200 system (both with IPod links).
Has anyone any experience of fitting the Kenwood unit.... i.e I don't want it to look like a bodge job and understand that I will have to move the a/c controls to the lowest position.
Becker option enables me to keep OEM look and not have to move things about but doesn't offer full sat nav map facility (or full post code search) or DVD option (for the kids!).
Kenwood offers full map (inc post code search), DVD and full IPod linkage but will entail a degree of modification.
Anyone have any exprience of these? Also with regards to resale...... will the Kenwood have a marked effect as it necessitates altering the cockpit from standard?
