whats the news as porsche are having a few problems at the moment with the front section !

Didn't someone make the interesting comment on a thread some months ago that a front cage isn't wise if you drive on the road at all (ie no lid) incase you get involved in an accident and smack your head on it?

I'd hope if you've a four (or more) point harness on, hitting your head on the cage isn't possible - unless the cage gets deformed - which is exactly what a cage is not supposed to do. Having said that, many years ago, the local neurosurgeon in the town I used to live in, always wore a helmet in any car he drove. I guess he ought to know!
