Never did them on my 930 ,but fitting, age allowed for just dead easy, SUBJECT to studs coming out !!!! Have to believe Danske the ones to go for , they fit right, on whatever they make and last as they should ..............reckon u can deal for under £1000 if u work at even as low as £600

Only becomes a difficult job if you snap a stud off. My 930 has been garaged all its life, only used in the dry and only done 36,000 miles when the heat exchangers had to be removed for other work. Bob Watson did the work and said that it was a bit*h because quite a few studs broke off - even though he had heated the nuts to get a bit of differential thermal expansion to release their grip on the studs.

If you do the job yourself and you get a broken stud you need to use a jig to drill out the old stud and re-tap the hole. If the drill is not exactly in the right place you can then wreck the head and need to remove it for heli-coiling.

FWIW I wouldn't take the risk, unless you have all the kit and jigs to rectify any studs that may break.
