Guys,

Look at this vid of the Cargraphic GT3RS Exhaust & CAT combo - reportedly adds 23BHP and reduces weight by 18Kg - cost circa £4k! Wonder if it will invalidate my warranty?

I also like the green lip on the rims as well paperbag

Parr sell that system, and I was looking at it for an upgrade for my mk1

Have to say it does sound bloody loud. Would need to be convinced about noise levels before diving in myself.

Sounds great and the power gains/weight savings are attractive.

Noise will be a problem though...the standard car already exceeds noise limits at a handful of UK circuits. With this fitted you will be further restricted to noisey days only at a subset of venues (eg >105db).

Price is €4.5k according to the Cargraphic web site.

Also I note they do a quiet version but it doesn't offer quite the same advantages.

+23bhp?? I am suprised there is that much improvemnet over the standard Porsche exhaust, from the noise at the top end of the rev range, a 97 GT3 exhaust sounds like it is free flowing.

Thought the 997RS sounded awesome as standard, or the only one I've been in, did!

Its the 200 cell cats that would get most of the extra horses!

Agreed it is fantastic as standard + £3k (4.5E) is a bit steep for 20-ish horses, partuculary when you consider extra noise, boom & warranty!

What is the standard dbs?

I'd just settle for the std system if I could get it to bark under 4000 revs.

Extra noise + Boom???
My God isn't that exactly what you want in a car like that..... That sounds AMAZING....
As for warranty, my 996RS has a VERY radical sports exhaust, suspension, brakes, and has been in and out of OPC Reading for warranty work without them ever even raising an eyebrow.
