It might be time.

Anyone know anything about this one...

http://www.911virgin.com/996ah.htm

Before I call Henry and ask him if he wants TWO Vesuvius 996s on the lot at the same time.

Cheers.

Looks like a very nice example - BUY IT !!

1 question though - will this mean you will need to change your name ?

Heh. Yeah.

TurboButterBean, maybe.

I'll give Henry a call and see how far down he wants to pull my pants on the trade in.

Nice car that one.
We sold it to the bloke 2 years ago.
He is currently looking for a white 996 turbo.
He is Jewish though !
Does that count for or against him ?

tippy is crappy but if you don't mind it seems a nice example, I would rather not have satnav (have a std CD player) than have PCM1 but on the major plus side it goes have PCGB tyre valve caps!!

I see the all important porsche club GB dust caps are one of the top 4 unique selling points for the car or they wouldnt have thier own photo out of 4 pics no ?

nice colour but they can stone chip very easily

not looked on uncle H's web site to see what the price is although as you are looking specifically for a tip have a shop around, there are loads for sale and plenty that have hung around for a while because of the transmission

if you are to dive in then it is possible a good deal is out there

whatever the situation - you wont be disappointed with the turbo biggrin

Have you driven a TT Tip before? I know you like Tips, but from my experience, the Tip isn't that well suited to the TT - the one I drove felt like a runaway train - very fast but too little control. I guess it all depends on driving style, and required usage.....

A picture paints a thousand words.....

The wheels are in lovely condition - even the insides are clean.

The front discs in the back of the photo look happy.

Enthusiast owned to the point he not only joined the Porsche Club he even bought a set of their (rather than Porsche crest) dust caps for his tyre valves.

As ever, method in our madness. And I don`t recall seeing a set fitted to a car so they made me chuckle & I thought I`d share them with the group smile
