Walked out to the car at the weekend to get some stuff out of the boot. Next door neighbour's 7 year old happened to be standing nearby, and he clocked that my car appeared to have no engine. So he asked where it was. Cut to me flipping the rear cover, showing him the engine, explaining the basic principles of a boxer engine and the benefits of rear-end bias coming out of corners. And he actually seemed interested. I suppose we'll only find out if it sunk in in a few years' time when he's up to his neck in debt trying to decide between one of those proper old-fashioned 997s and a new fangled electro-ethanol powered 999.

My son got a Porsche bike as a christening present off my dad last week, he 's a bit young to ride it at 8 weeks old but it kind of qualifies as his first Porsche.
I suspect he will be getting the Porsche tractor pedal car for Christmas (my son that is, not his grandad!.

You cannot start them too young, my sons first trip to a Porsche garage was at 2 weeks old and his first Porsche show was at 3 and a half weeks old.
