I am now very much in the market for a GT3 having sold my TVR today (steady!).

Can anyone give me the lowdown on options, must haves. Waste of space etc? Also with differences between mkI and II.

Things like seats, wheels, lights, aircon, interior, engine, brakes, gbox etc.

Thanks
Graham

Yes, get all of those or you'll regret it.

I would say look at lots and buy the best, mk 1 or 2 depending on budget, low owners/miles if poss, get OPC check, all you need are buckets and air con.

Loud enough out the packet, not the same as normal 996,but you can always play about with the noise later.....but you wont.

You're going to track it yes?

If so go for standard exhaust or you're limiting the tracks you will be allowed on.

Most are 101 - 102db as standard.

Can aircon be retro fitted? Paragon have quite a nice mk2 that doesn't have it.

So at the other end of the GT3 spectrum is this...

private sale mk1. Looks a great colour in the pics, any thoughts on spec/age/price/miles etc?

Thanks
Graham

Sounds good and is sensibly priced, especially with some of the common things to wear out having been recently replaced. Might still be worth getting it independently inspected by GT3 specialist first and if all OK, go for it.

Retro fit would cost more than getting one with it fitted originally....dont go there.
