New car, some questions....
Discussion
In the process of picking up a Boxster S for my mum, It will be her first Porsche and she is extreemly excited moving from a Z3 2.8 which she has loved, but it was time for a change.
Looking to clean up the light clusters, can someone suggest the best way of replacing the "orange" type lights with clear both front and rear?

and

Is it a difficult thing to do?
Onto tyres, currently it has

I know that the zeros get louder when they wear down but are they the best for the car?
I also know that the current rear screen is the plastic varity is it possible to replace that with the later glass screen?
thanks for any help

Had an S (in seal grey as well) for some years. Fantastic car. Here my 5p:
- Porsche do original replacements for the lenses, not cheap though
- Pirelli's are Ok but the Michelin's I liked better at the time but I had them on 18" GT3 alloys
- Can't replace plastic with glass window - the only real downside of this car
Go to www.boxa.net. The forums there are awash with exactly the queries (& associated solutions + prices) you are raising.
Thanks for the replies, will keep a look out for other posts regarding the replacement rear screen, was hoping I would get all the info here rather than on another site but if all else fails I will join up, is there a reason that the info has not made it to PH?
Has anyone used eurocarparts for the replacement lenses?
cheers. only 16 hours to go
