My lovely new Specialised Car Covers cover (which is very nice and highly recommended) arrived too late to prevent the 964 succumbing to the leaky bonnet seal, wet soundproofing, damp interior combo again during the recent inclement weather. I'm fed up of propping the dehumidifier in there and drying out mouldy soundproofing on the kithcen radiator (absolutely stinks).

Has anyone here ever sourced new carpet and soundproofing as part of a re-trim and, if so, could you tell me where from? I've tried the usual online outlets but can't seem to find the required items there. Ideally I want to renew all the door and bonnet seals fairly soon.

Cheers.

I bought my seals from design911, i also have bought from forestfine and OPC, pretty similar in quality. Price varies according to what you want.

OPC quoted me £68.42 passenger footwell soundproofing for my 964C2.

On an old car a few years back I had a leak and found the best way to deal with it, (apart from repairs at £800 on a £1,200 value, I eventually sorted it out my self rather than let honda have the cash) was to buy kilo of silica gel (from flower shops), leave that in the car in a tray, when it has absorbed the damp dry out in a microwave and re-use!
