Is there an instruction anywhere on the web that explains how to take the interior trim off an 88 3.2.
There seems to be something rattling about inside mine.

More likely to find this in a Haynes manual (yes, there is one!) than the internet. Most 3.2 fansites don't go into this level of technical info.

You will also find that removing the 911 door panel can be done with a bit of common sense without a manual - takes time though. You have to remove the door 'furniture' first like the door bins and plastic knobs.

following works for a 964....maybe same for the 3.2.
1- top rail-remove screw + small trim panel at front door edge just below window frame, then remove 2 screws hidden by this trim
2- remove small cap at other end of top rail, remove screw under this cap
3- unscrew door lock indicator in top rail ( plastic vertical sleeve)
4- remove top rail -will now lift off.
5-if got manual window winder, push off top plastic lid on winder handle, remove screw on shaft, remove winder handle
6- if got door pull handle, push caps from ends, undo 2x M6 bolts ( 10mm socket size)
7- if got manual door lock, prise off centre cap on knob, remove screw on shaft, remove knob, unscrew circular surround trim ( threaded plastic)
8- if all door furniture now off, remove the trim screws, gently ease trim panel off the 2 or 3 plastic pegs - be careful if door speaker fitted, will need to detach the wire connectors
9- try not to damage polythene membrane that remains stuck to door, should be able to remove any junk thru the speaker cut out.
10- assemble in reverse order, recommend sketching / labelling as go along, dont get any bits left over !!
