996 GT3RS Oulton Park Wed 1st Aug???
Discussion
Hi folks, I know this is cheeky but I'm looking to upgrade my 996C2 to a 996GT3RS, I'll driving at Oulton Park next Wednesday but it would be great if I could catch up with any of you lot who own a GT3RS. I'd like to chat about ownership, tracking the car, sourcing a car, gotcha's etc.
If you know of any mint car, please point me in the right direction.
cheers

He wants to buy and is looking to chat to an owner and maybe get a passenger ride, but he is so tight he is driving my car next week and not his own C2
. Wants to keep the C2 mint for the highest sale price I guess. The kicker is that I insist on taking a few laps in the RS when it arrives!

Yep, I'm looking to buy, if someone were to offer me a passenger ride I wouldn't argue ;-), u know just to get the juices flowing....
Dark Helmet, your Boxster S won't know what's hit it when I get in, instead of the usual 'Drving Miss Daisy' style it's used to under your command ;-).
Seriously though be great to speak with any owners, so many questions.

Scottl, I remember speaking with you regarding your old GT3, you had just upgraded to the RS. So how come you're selling the RS now??, you got yourself a 997??.
I remember you having the RS up on ramps a few months ago, cleaning etc if I remember.
Your car is a nice example but probably about £5k over my budget.

My new RS is coming at the end of August. Sadly the 996RS has to go. Wish I had space to keep them both. I absolutely love the 996RS. I have a feeling I'm going to regret selling it.I remember you having the RS up on ramps a few months ago, cleaning etc if I remember.

Was just having a look at values. Similar cars on here and Autotrader are being offered at more money. Looks like you need to review your budget.

That's funny. Those that know me will testify I look nothing like Arthur Daily. The M6 is my neighbors car. The pic with the Silver GT3 was taken earlier this year when I had just bought the RS.cayman-black said:
Scott come on tell the truth, the m6 is your new track toy.

When he first got it I persuaded him to come along to a track evening at Bedford. Think he enjoyed hustling it around. Shame a full tank of fuel lasted only 20 minutes and the tyres melted soon after. F***ing quick in a straight line though and it sounds great.
