Well, as the owner of a MK1, I hope it is underpriced!!!! But you are right - not sure who is going to pay £60k for an 82,000 mile Gt3.

Surely this bit makes the price worthwhile:

"Irish VRT paid €34k"

Isn't it a typo?

Assume it's €60k not £60k.

With that sort of mileage it's still pricey at €60k (£40k).

I don't remember there being a precedent for a Mk1 on sale with as high mileage. The closest I'm aware of was the Zanzibar Mk1 with about 60k miles which went for 48'ish 6 months or so ago? Besides, if the car has a good service/maintenance history (ie, regularly at JZM or Parr), then the floor price should always be above any 996 with the wet sump engine.

Hey lads, not a typo! Irish cars are extremley expensive,

VRT is a registration tax. 30% of the value of the car. New 997 GT3 is €180k here about £120k sterling...

Car is in superb condition and shows genuine miles and has had no expense spared.

MK1's are going same way as 964 RS prices too, so grab them while you can. smile

Strange when I was looking for GT3 OPC Ireland was by far the cheapest £4-5 k less for similar cars to over here.

So do we think the MK1 GT3 is going the same way as the 964 RS ??

Looks lovely.

I must admit, a roll cage in the cockpit makes a 996 look like it should. It's amazing how more desirable GT3's with a rollcage are, eventhough I never got to terms with the rear wing. Definitely the kind of car to keep for a long time.

That makes all the difference. The engine is so much more responsive with that paid.
