FINANCE DEAL - THOUGHTS
Discussion
Hi all,
Second baby arrived 6 weeks ago and the C4s was sold privately to a friend down south and we bought a Cayenne as the family mobile. My wife's 2004 CLK200K avantgarde has been my mule until it goes back to MB direct on 12th august and have just signed for a 0555boxster.
I am paying £29k from a specialist in Edinburgh, fully serviced with an OPC warranty and have got a balanced payment scheme through capital bank, £3K deposit, 385 for 48m and a £13k balloon. Works out at 1.75% above FHBR.
This was the best deal I could get after a substantial trawl - any thoughts?
btw - to buy the Merc requires a residual of £16750 and dealers have bid £14k so I will polish up, valet and hand back. Dropped like a stone in 3 yrs

I don't fancy the idea of a 4 year loan. I've looked at finance before and always thought that the extra monthly cost to get into a 3 year deal was worth it. As a complete guess I would say that if you asked them for the same deal, but over 3 years it may work out around 420 - 440 pm? Isn't that worth it? You might just walk away with your deposit back as well, though I don't know the boxster residuals at the mo and don't know if it's an 'S' or not?
