GT3 centre console

Can you fit a centre console (CD Holder front) to a GT3 Mk2 which has been supplied without one?

OK, I see that design 911 sell one, but is this easy to fit if a car has been specced with the centre consolle deletion option?

Have a quick search on RennTech or RennList, sure there's a DIY on there somewhere.

I saw one of the regular posters has his own site that he updates with step-by-step mod instructions and photos, and again, think he has one for removal of the centre storage thingy, so fitting one with the correct kit should just be the reverse (Haynes manual style).

If memory serves me correctly, there's a decorative carpet U-shaped cover that is removed (from yours), the centre tunnel assy also need to be removed, then a cadmium plated bracket assy is screwed in, into which the platics holder is bolted, then the trim panels fitted to the side, etc. Certainly didn't look too taxing!
