996 GT3 MK2 worth £65K?

How can a GT3 MK2 go from £49,995 to £64,995 virtually overnight?

For sale by an indi. up north 2003(03) Speed Yellow, 11K miles, A/C and buckets...

It must be the most expensive available?

It means that there is a shortage of GT3's because Porsche have stopped making the 997 version --- accepting no more orders.

As for £65k ? How much were they new ? !

I spoke to the owner a little while ago and mentioned to him the appreciation on the gt3. Its a clerical error that price should be on an rs thats coming in.
Oh the car is at SSC (www.shaksspecialistcars.co.uk) if anyone is interested.

Shame, I had rather hoped that the clerical error was with the numbers 6 and 4 and it was coming down to £46,995!

Price increases for MK11 GT3's are inevitable, there were so few made and production of the 997 version was a) limited and b) ceased but even so that is a whopping increase.

Still i hope it sells at that price!

Ask the seller about the service history. The car itself appears to be OK (apart from the lack of a front splitter and a passenger airbag cover which looks grey rather than black and has bite marks on it).

The dealer said that the bite marks were from the last owner's dog. It used to sit in the passenger seat apparently.
