Just spotted this in classifieds, - anyone think this is suspect ??
English is bad, and since when has a sunroof in a 993 been 'rare' ??
The whole ad looks suspect to me!

I think as he has owned it a long time and when it was new Porsche used to record all damage on there own regestry no matter how small, he may be refuring to this rather than an HPI cat regestar if you are interested in the car it would only take a phone call to get the answer.

If it wasnt on VCAr it would be more like 25k, almost certainly Cat D, but at least he's being honest about itEdited by lightweight on Monday 30th July 07:57

This car has had a replacement front PU by the looks of it, as it's a NB version on there rather than the Turbo version WB cars should have.

Unless it's been replaced to allow the RS spiltters to be fitted??
A touch of the olds seventeens and its worth it, definitely.
Every 993 owner thinks they're the cat who got the cream, and its put me right off them.
Last of the 911's et cetera.
Sorry buddy, the last of the 911's was really built in 1989, but do hang on.
I looked at a 63k 993 2 years ago, and could have got it for £24k. Its still worth nearly that now. Same looked at one for £20k 18mths ago, he still wants the same money.
100k cars at £20k / no thanks, I don't care how many are being bought by fitters at Weissach. [That couldn't be spin, could it?
]
Great car, and definitely on the list, but I still feel that a sub 20 964 would be just a tad nicer.
993's don't have the build of the two previous models, and just about now Id start looking at the MAF's suspension, cloggy clutches, brakes et al.
All money, and plenty of it.
Id still jump at one, don't get me wrong, I just no longer see them as the nadir.
