My prized 996TT is in need of a new clutch (just started to slip 29,000 miles on the clock)
Are there any options to the standard clutch my OPC will fit?

See if they'll fit the stronger clutch from the X50/GT2?

Just had my X50 equipped (Turbo S) clutch replaced at 16,500mls by Tognola in Datchet for £1400. AFN quoted £2600 for the same job. I believe this is the same clutch as the GT2 and as such is supposedly better able to cope than the std. Turbo clutch....just not up to a few standing starts at VMax biggrin

I did a bit of reading on the web into alternatives to stock, and although these promise better wear there also seems the likelihood of additional noise due to the clutch (clatter was being referred to). One forum suggested that in a daily commuter this could become annoying - I therefore chickened out on an upgrade without any further reading.

It is all in the vmax start line technique- let them win off the line and then go faster down the straight!

Some confusion here, I can't see the clutch causing extra "clatter"...this would be due to a lightweight flywheel if fitted over the dual mass...clutch wouldn't affect things that much.

Just go with a carbon/ceramic clutch with LWFW and you'll NEVER go back.
