hi guys, just thought i would get an idea of what i could drive away in if i went to an opc and said good morning, i have 15000 and 400 pounds per month what can i have,
hoping for a 996 c4s really, just dont want them to say come around the back please sir and here is a ford escort lol lol

Probably not nearly as much as if your sorted out your own finance independently and bought privately or from an independant dealer.

You haven't mentioned the term of the loan or APR. It's like giving them a blank cheque to make as much money out of you as possible.

Try Oracle finance to give you an idea of what your figures would get you into. Porsche finance rates that i was quoted were also very attractive to be fair to them.

£15000 deposit and £400 a month obviosley with a balloon, will i get one for this, is this how some of you buy yours, have any of you guys got experience with this type of finance, and what sort of buy back of porsche will i get if i sell it in say 2 years

Colin, the short answer is yes, you can get a 996 C4S.

What the other PHers are suggesting is that you could get even more for your money if you got finance elsewhere and perhaps even got the car from an independent / private sale.

a private sale would be fine i just need to be sure that she has been looked after, some of the indys seem to be very reliable but i would feel much safer with an opc, your thoughts appreciated

You can get finance from whoever you want and buy the car from an OPC if you choose, all the finance company would need is the cars details and VIN. You have more than enough for an OPC C4S between £40-£50k. Mann Island Finance are also good - www.mannisland.co.uk - fill in the enquiry form and they will get back to you with a break-down - Simple.
