Changing a sidelight bulb

I need to change the offside sidelight bulb on my pre-facelift 996 with Litronics. Can anyone point me to any instructions? I guess I could just go down the OPC for a reaming.

RTFM !

There will be a long hex socket + bar in your tool kit. Remove the rubber plug from the inside of the luggage compartment (on the side, next to the lights) - insert above hex socket and turn towards the front of the car. The whole light assembly will pop out (may take some reasonable force.)

Then remove the rear of the lights where you can get to the bulbs.

Reverse the procedure when putting it back - grease/oil the plastic runners and metal assembly to make it easier to put back / next time.

Thanks I thought about the manual and phoned the MOT place back. They don't have a bulb that fit so I'm going to have to try and source one...
