944 turbo (1985 220bhp) binnacle problem please help!!!!

I have a problem in that all my binnacle instruments are not working. They where but have stopped! The only thing that comes on is the battery light on the ammetre which goes off on start. Car runs fine.
Have checked fuses etc... any suggestions!!!!

Do they share a common earth?
