Ipod connector

Can anyone advise me on how to connect an ipod to a Kenwood stereo so that the ipod can be operated through the stereo controls ?

I saw an article in Total 911 where a guy had done this on a 996.

You need the Kenwood KCA-IP500 Ipod adapter

It's not an ideal solution as far as ipod integration is concerned, but it's the best on offer for Kenwood head units. Be warned though, it's not compatible with all Kenwoods.

Hi,

I use a Kenwood 300 adapter wih my unit and IPod video. Seems to provide all the functionality I need and provide video to the DVD. Very easy to install.
