Missus just about drop me off for night out, pulls out of driveway, revs all over the place, then pulls forward and steers like a loony, obviously I start taking the piss about not being able to handle my car (996TT), the driving doesn't improve, then she starts saying its pulling all over the place, my heart suddenly sinks and brain wakes up, I get her to stop so I can check outside. frown Bleedin front right tyre is hissing at me frown

So tyre hunt time, both will need doing as other is 2/3rd's worn....

Best price so far (with exact match):

MyTyres : Pirelli P ZERO SYSTEM Asimmetrico 225/40 ZR18 88ZR ,, N3 £ 123.40 2 £ 246.80 (NOT FITTED)

Trouble is , doubt I can make it to a fitter as when I try to inflate it goes down in minutes...

So the dreaded k/fit option :

Make Model Tyresize Price Quantity Total

Pirelli Pzero Nero 225/40Y18 £147.00 2 £294.00
15% Pirelli Tyre Discount £44.10 1 -£44.10
Valve and Balance £8.50 2 £17.00
Tyre Disposal Charge £1.50 2 £3.00
Mobile Fitting Service Charge £20.00 1 £20.00
Total £289.90

Any other suggestions appreciated...

EVENT MOBILE TYRES

Google them. Good prices and they fit them at your place. I've used them three times.

Pirelli 225/40 R18 [ZR] Pzero Asimmetrico N3 [Porsche] £156.28 £312.56

More expensive that k/fit, but then again, £20 extra for NOT going k/fit will prob be wise!

I used Event Mobile and they damaged all 4 of my alloys. They did pay for a front face refurb which was of average quality but it was the hassle of having to take a half day off to get it sorted that was a pain.

I recommend you get the tyres fitted by a specialist who has the correct equipment for wheels of these specifications if you want a much lower risk of damage and the associated hassle/time/cost that you might incurr smile

Have to say, i've heard good things about them in the past, and maybe it depends on where you are - though i still prefer to take the car to Micheldever or Bracknell tyres; those guys know how to treat your allows properly & sort out the odd rim leak!

top tip - always have a spare fromt and rear wheel with tyre in the garage - then you can remove the wheel and take it in.
