Easy seat question....

Morning everyone,

Quick question which I can't seem to find a search hit for - Original Porsche leather buckets, a-la GT3...how do you tell the original Porsche items from the aftermarket items?

Do the OE ones have Recaro printed somewhere obvious? Did all OE seats have the embossed Porsche crest on the headrest?

Porsche crests in the headrests and factory (non-generic) sliders are two starting points. Some far eastern knock-off's might also have the crests but are unlikely to use Porsche's brackets.

So am I right in thinking that all seats are embossed, and that the crests are/were not a tickable option?

I think that's the case for the GT3 style buckets but not for standard or sport seats.
