PLEASED BE WARNED THAT DICK TURPIN, THAT INFAMOUS HIGHWAYMAN, IS ALIVE AND WELL HAVING JUST HAD MY BOXSTER REPAIRED AT A COST OF £90/HR PLUS VAT.

THATS AT TOTAL OF NEARLY £106/HR. INCLUDING VAT!!

DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A PORSCHE MECHANIC/GARAGE IN THE COLCHESTER AREA WHO CHARGES MORE SENSIBLE PRICES.

MANY THANKS

MIKE

Jesus, where did you get that done Mike.

What work did you get done, gold plating?

That sounds like the standard labour rate from an OPC. I have heard very good reports about Autostrasse in your neck of the woods. I don't know if there are any other PH'ers in the Essex area

Have a look at a copy of 911 and Porsche world. You may find what you want there (Many adverts for servicing.) Incidentally, from my observations, the extra cost of OPC servicing is not recouped if / when it comes time to sell the car. Additionally, many specialists seem to have a better reputation than some OPCs.

I've used Autostrasse for work on my 964, and am happy with them, I know others who are likewise happy, but as to whether they do Boxters? I couldn't say.

Ken Chambers (PCGB 964 Register Secretary) recommends Autostrasse too!
