MY04 Boxster's

I've ordered a Boxster for delivery October and have heard a rumour that Porsche are going to launch 2 new colours for MY04! Does anyone know what the colours might be?

I'm also very undecided as to get full or partial leather?

Get full leather as partial looks cheap - on the dashboard inparticular. And make sure you get heated sport seats!

Agree with both sentiments. Also - if you have a black interior there is no point going for the large leather pack. (Three levels of Porsche leather - partial, full and "large leather pack"). The third option coats the interior of the car with dead cow. Very nice but defo not necessary in black.

Other options required: Wind Deflector, OBC, a stereo upgrade (Porsche Sound Pack or Bose) as the standard speakers are shite. Errr. Get an S if you can. Errrr.

Can't think of anything else right now but ask away...

Agree about the wind deflector - I never use the plastic shield in the middle but the car looks a lot better with the mesh in the space under the rollover bar. Oh, and get this painted silver as it really does set the whole thing off!

Air-con is a must-have, as are bigger wheels.

I was in two minds over partial and full, in the end I went for partial as it didn't look too bad compared to full and most of the boxster including S's had only partial!
Spec is as follows:
Seal Grey, Carrera's, Porsche sound system, heated seats, OBC, partial leather, Litronic's, Alu gear/handbrake, wind deflector, air con and embossed heatrest! Don't think I've missed owt.
Now the long wait til September.

I thought the sport seats were nice to look at but felt uncomfortable to sit in. Didn't think the full leather was worth the extra 1k over partial!

Anyone know when the MY04 spec's are released? I've put my final spec in but would be interested to know if any options might become standard for MY04??

Didn't spec PSM as the OPC guy didn't think the 2.7 needed it!

by the time i get my 03 the 04s will be out maybee the 05s aswell unless they get there finger out!!!!
