Porsche owners club in North Wales / Chester area?

Other than the PCGB (which has contact names, but no other details for the North Wales region) are there any Porsche clubs in the North Wales / Chester area? I'm really just looking for people to go out on blasts with, improve driving techniques and attend track days with. I know we're really heading in to the wrong part of the year for stuff like this, but I intend on driving my Porker through a large portion of the coming frosty months.

I know the PCGB meets every month at Northop Golf Club, and there's a more informal group meets at The Thatch at Raby Mere during the summer, but not winter I think. There is also the series of North Wales Runs organised through the Rennlist site, but again now finished til next year I think.

Otherwise, it's down to people doing their own thing. I'm up for a run out if you are...

Well if you can get somebody out of a deep coma then I would be interested in a run out. I hve not been out on a Porker run before so it will be all new to me! Be good to see other cars.

It's a real shame about the roads up in North Wales. I grew up there and learnt to drive on some fantastic stretches. I rarely go back but was there over the summer. That Nazi Chief Constable has now peppered some of the best roads in the UK with stupid restrictions and put speed cameras everywhere. We even found trafpol in a Volvo driving around the Denbigh moors at 9:30am on Sunday! What was that about other than to nick people who fancied stretching their legs on some empty roads? Ruined...
