Have a look at Autocar this week, they have done a great article on the fastest point-point car in the real world.Pitched M3,TVR Tuscan, Mitsi Evo,Vx220 turbo ,Clo 172,RS focus,caterham,the latest Lambo, a Noble & a 996TT.
I have to say the Noble ran it very close, but the 996TT (with X50) took the honours, they rated it on a different level to all the other's & this hard on the heels of Car magazine voting the 996TT their N01 car out of their top 100 !!
Let's face it whether you drive a 944 S2/Turbo, 928, 968, Boxter or 911 you have bought into a great drivers car & your car comes as part of Porsche's history, which keeps developing & honing each design! Who would have bet on a car with it's engine slung way out past the rear wheel's winning a handling test in 2003,it's great to see the current Porker flagship stuff all comers !!
