Porsches at Pistonfest

I saw your identical car Andy, pity we didn't meet up! Mine was parked round in the camp site - had to leave a bit earlier that expected on the sunday so didn't want to get trapped in the main enclosure. Your wheels look better than mine - I deliberately didn't clean mine so the brake dust would hide the worst of it

Hi, that was my Yellow GT3, only got it last week, it's just a stop gap until i can get my hands on a brand new GT3. I know there is a massive wait but i'm in talks with a couple of guys that are selling at a premium for delevery over the next few weeks. The yellow GT3 will then be forsale. If anyone is interested the spec is as follows;
UK main dealer GT3 (RHD) November 1999 in speed yellow.
Comfort spec but with club sport black leather trimmed buckets.
One owner, 7500 miles.
Climate and CD/Radio.
Just had 87 point check at local Porsche dealers.
Will be looking for 57k for a quick sale.
Cheers
Scott

and TVRs was about 200
even scooby's outnumbered porsches
I went in my sons punto as my OPC had lost my car and guess what it turned up today at 15:00 so I might get it for this weekend thats no good I wanted it last week
I will be ready for the next event hopefully

I think there was a lot more than 10 porkers at PFest. Many were left in the camping area on sunday as the Porsche Power Drinker Possee stayed up drinking later than the pussywimp owners of the other performance marques. By the time it was safe to drive the porsches into the arena it was already full.
I met most Porsche PHers, but didn't manage to meet argonaut or superlightr. I saw superlightr's targa driving by the entrance and parked in the camping area but he was not about.

We enjoyed the music, but for part of sat afternoon we went to Stratford so wife could have her fix of the shops! and Sunday morning again went back to Stratford to have a shower in the free, clean, warm public showers, had a nice breakfast then came back.
We zipped off home about 12am after we looked at all the cars in the ring. I think next time names on T-Shirts is a good idea.
Hopefully we can meet up at the next one.

...didn't manage to make it down there, I'm afraid! Family commitments cropped up that I couldn't weadle out of. Looking forward to the next meet though (whenever that may be)! Seems like most of you guys ended up looking like well cooked lobsters.
