Would You Trust Autoglass Windscreens ?

On the M40 today and stone hit the windscreen like a bullet and caused a swirl shaped crack the size of a tennis ball.
I am on company insurance and the car will go to Autoglass in Bracknell on Thursday next week. Without wanting to sound like a pooftah, can I assume Autoglass are OK to be left doing this work. To be fair, they did mention a specially qualified technician would be doing the work and he is only avaialble on set days.

Many years ago i bought a 968 that had an Autoglass windscreen. it leaked and the car started to rust around the 'A' pillars... Tried to make a claim on Porsche 10 year warranty and obviously they did not want to know as the windscreen was not done by an OPC....
On all cars since i have found that if you push the insurance company hard enough they often buckle and let you get an OPC to replace the screen
Also i talked to an Autoglass fitter once and he told me they never get any training apart from watching fitting videos for new cars when they come out....He also found it funny telling me a story about how he slashed a leather dash on a Jag once when he was fitting a screen !!!!

had new screens fitted to both 997s i have owned (autoglass/RAC)
in both cases I had to get them to come back and do it again (i.e take out new fitted screen and install yet another new screen this time correctly)
Seem to be under too much pressure to do it quickly
