944 New Seats

Had my new seats fitted last night black leather with red piping the guy that has done them has done a cracking job and can build sets up in about a week (paid of fronts were £300 exchanged with my old set)

That sounds a good price Southbound charge double that for front seats. Whereabouts is this guy and whats his contact details? The bolsters on my sports seats are wearing a bit and replacement could be very beneficial

They look good, and reasonably priced too. I'd been planning to have a go at re-covering mine with (black) leather side bolsters, sides and backs and (grey) alcantara centre panels. But at this price it may not be worth the effort.

Couple of questions;
What has happened to your levers to tilt the seats forward, have you decided not to bother?
Did you get a quote for the rears as well, and if so how much?
My seats seem different with much deeper side bolsters (apart from electric adjustment). I've not looked at many 944s, does anyone know how many styles (rather than fabrics) there were?
And the Porsche spares list includes new covers, does anyone know if they are still available and if so what fabrics and how much? (Must be a marketing opportunity for someone, they seem to just slip over the under cover and clip underneath.)

1/Levers are there just hidden by seatbelt
2/ He is currently making me a set of rears - similar money
3/there were a few different styles and as i understand it he has patterns for them all.

The quality of workmanship on there is excellent, and the leather superb, he apparently used to do specialst timming for jaguar. So i personally wouldnt bother trying to do my own and just get him to sort them out.
