Hi there,

Just de-cloaking after a few months of reading these Pork-tastic pages with interest and a smile. Good to see all your machines are exercised regularly! I especially liked the Ruf 190mph vid - awesome!!

Anyway, onto my second water-cooler now, a '92 968 Coupe which I've had since March this year having replaced a good 'ole 944 2.7 Lux (g757bbw - are you out there?). I loves it! (Will love it even more once it gets some Cup 2's - 16"'s look sooo little).

Anyway, is there someone on these pages who drives an L reg (LxxAHS or similar) dark green metallic 968 Coupe that was in Frome, Somerset last night? I gave a friendly beep whilst behind but got no response. He peeled off left, me to the right. First one I've seen on 'my' patch

Anyway, cheers for now.

Steve

Welcome to the funny farm, Steve.

You're in good company here- the 968 is a most worthy machine. Any more pics?

There's the usual suspects who will in good time introduce themselves - Don like me has a Boxster S, Domster has a rather poorly 964 RS. He also has a tendency to bang on about them ad nauseum too, but you'll soon get used to that. Dazren has a wonderful 996 Turbo and is the current Bruntingthorpe high speed holder at a superb 192mph.

Finally, but by no means least is our very own "Nowvan Monkey" DeRestrictor, keeper of quite possibly the loudest, rudest and indeed blackest 993 Turbo this side of Christendom. It will soon be considerably more powerful and slightly lighter, facilitating a full assualt on Dazs' crown.

Our next Brunters is still TBA, but please feel to join us in some banter and high speed hoonery.

All the best,

Greg

Strange i bought a red 968 CS with LxxxAHS from the South west a few months ago...obviously a coincidence, but apparently AHS is a Scottish registration area I am told.

Any car with an old-style reg number that contains an S was first registered in Scotland.

Would be cool to have a run up to Brunters - I'll keep my eye's peeled.

Cheers,

Steve
