I know it looks horrible, but there is a reason for the 928, some (I think about 10 ??) where made by a Danish specialist to avoid the 180% registration tax payed for passenger cars in Denmark. After the conversion it can be registered as a commercial vehicle and get a set of licence plates far cheaper (aprox 50% tax, I'm not sure)
For many Danes this is the only way to get a decent set of wheels, just consider that a new 928 GTS, no extras, costed 175,260£ in 1995 !!!
