It makes for a very sensible mod. However, to make most use of the increase in boost, you'll need to dyno your car to have the A/F ratio optimised (how many times have I said that recently). If you can't be bothered then the generally accepted rule is to set idle CO to around 3% with the air injector disconnected. However, If I were you, I would get an electronic boost controller, rather than change the spring. This way you won't have to open your wastegate (can be expensive in labour), you'll get better spool times, no drop off in boost and you can always revert to the original boost by switching the boost controller off. A decent boost controller will be under £400 fitted, JZM quote £375 I think to fit a one bar spring.
