Alternatives to the Porsche Aerokit????
Discussion
Gembella, being very careful what you choose and depending on your definition of tasteful...
To be honest, I think the standard 996tt looks great for what it is, and I like the GT3 look as well. Best looking 996 for me has to be the GT3-RS, simply because of the red wheels and boy racer livery

Assuming we are talking about the 911, are you looking at retro-fitting such an Aerokit? If so, which model are you looking at the 993 or 996?
I've a 996 TT already - was going to sell it in the spring - now keeping it so thought I'd "play with it" a little!
Seriously tho - don't want it to look Max Power!

I LOVE the standard look - but want it to be slightly less hairdresser, more hetro
Need something that will delete the impression given by my red moleskins.....!
Buster,
With the 996tt there is surely no need for any form of motorized hubris?
Everyone knows it's 'The Daddy' (apologies for that phrase) - you will receive 'maximum respect' from young males and I've come to feel that such relative aesthetic calmness (quite distinct from a banshee wailing Pininfarina style) - is very much part of it's appeal.
The external visuals are just right - maybe spend the money on a modest 'lightning programme?'...Over to Domster, I think.
Did you say you were Brunting on the 12th, perchance?

Interesting thread this...
Not sure about the neon wiper jets though!
I think that it does start to show how we Porsche owners differ, in our tastes towards the acceptability of the styling of the basic product coming out of Stuttgart. I know that the "quality" after-market tuners have always been given a good amount of scope for development from the factory, and also been given the ability to develop their products along side Porsche (the speed of bits for the Cayenne springs to mind)
But I have to say, big respect to Porsche for the quality engineering in the product to start with! Then leaving us with the infinite scope to decide how we wish to personalise our cars from that point onwards.
Hey, "One man`s meat" and all that!

Hey, That red beasty might not be eveyone`s Cuppa Tea.
But to me, its the dogs! Nothing about that is "Max Power" whatsoever.
It`s well designed, in proportion, and perfectly right, to offer customers a more aggresive stance to the almost perfect (basic Turbo) factory product!
I`d have it in yella me self...ay!
