I'm planning to organise a rolling road day at www.G-Force-Motorsport.co.uk primarily for Turbo Porsches (others welcome). I need a minimum of 12 cars committed to running their cars on the dyno. Rough costs would be £50 for a 2WD turbo, 4WD slightly more.

Let me know if you are interested and i'll get it organised...

I've been to G-Force a few times for rolling road days with other car clubs and their facilities are very good and Chris who runs the dyno is a really nice bloke. They also have a few choice race porsches to look at there, including 935, GT1 and a carbon-bodied 993 RS with a 650bhp Gemballa engine.

When are you thinking of?

GTRHenry and I would be interested in bringing up our two 996 GT2s (Henry collected his silver one yesterday).

No dates as yet. Once interest is confirmed, i'll look at dates.

As already mention, it's a great place to go, lots of nice cars, and Chris knows his stuff. So those of you thinking about a few cheeky mods, it's a good place to start.

I am up for this (dates permitting)

I've just installed some upgrades from a US company and it would be nice to get a proper plot showing boost and air/ fuel ratios throughout the rev range to see that everything is in order.

Yeah, I know. G-Force specialise in turbo's, the rolling road room is fully temperature controlled and bloody massive fans are directed at the important bits. Any how, they monitor all the important temperatures.

If they're happy to tune their GT1 on it, it's good enough for me

Subject to date etc. please count me in.

I'm assuming they have fans etc appropriate for a 951.

I would be up for it dates permitting and ideally no sooner than early December - just in the process of ordering some new goodies, and would like to have them in place,

adamt, just took a look at your profile to check out the pic of the Ruf and clicked through to the details on the car. Had to chuckle when I saw that under comments there was only one word ...

"quick"

... not much more needs to be said really!

Ok, spoken to G-Force and we are looking at Saturday (they don't do shoot outs on a Sunday) the 15th of Nov. As a reminder I need 12 cars to dyno on the day. I don't intend to collect money up front, i'll underwrite the day myself. However, I will be forced to name and shame any one who commits and then pulls a no show.....

Afraid I can't do the 15th as the car goes in for a service the day before and I doubt I will have it back.

OK, I thought the date might be a bit soon. So we have another provisional date for the 2nd/3rd weekend in January. How does that suit people?

Damnit

I'm due to work all three of those Saturdays. Best for me is the 2nd weekend in January, when I could slope off for a few hours. Sorry
