just back from test driving a 993t4 at Eurosports - what an experience
I have been toying with returning to Pork ownership for some time and having read DeR's many exuberant posts about his beast and seen a couple strutting their stuff at Brunters recently decided to give one a go - what a superb vehicle !
I was initially a bit concerned by the timewarp factor caused by the interior (it was just like being back in the 964 C4 I had in the mid 90's) but after a few miles and a few opportunities to hear the Gemballa sports exhaust scream as the needle rose above 5k and feel my inerds squeezed by the acceleration pulling through 2nd and 3rd I was sorely tempted to open the wallet
this example was in burgundy with same colour sections in the interior - not really to my taste and a few dents and scratches that made it lookits age - but I'm definately now on the look out for a spot on example in a more palatable colour combo
by the way have any PH's been down to Eurosports ? what a garage !! superb Zonda in black - Murky'lago - Diablo SV - Enzo arriving early Nov - Carrera GT on Order - host of other vehicles from the top marques - it must be one of the best selections in the South East

Hi Ian, I think we were introduced briefly when you were talking to my younger brother Lee at the beginning of the day. Looking at your post can I just confirm if you had a run in a turbo at Brunters? I know myself and a couple of the other turbo owners tend to run the cars virtually non stop giving as many PHers a passenger run as possible. If you didn't get a run just remember to ask next time.

PS - I can think of two people who didn't get a run in my car due to time running out on the day (me having to leave), hopefully one of the other Turbo owners obliged, if not there is always next time.

a real Alladin's Garage - the black murcy was LHD but beautiful - I saw the Carrera GT at Goodwood alongside the Enzo and Konneg'thingy and it looked superb - apparently Eurosports have one coming soon so worth keeping a eye out - would be great to see it close up - the people there seem to be enthuisiasts - one worked with RUF (or so the chap who took me out on the 993t4 testdrive said) and they clearly have contacts that result in some great wheels coming through their facility
